I use the idea of perfils and sceneries. Open and closes processes according what I want to do in the system.
I controlled memory and compatibilities. Yes compatibilities. I have so many programs installed that some don't go well with any other. The driver of the fax machine don't goes well with the multifunction driver and so on.
When I detect an incompability I close the process before beginning with the other.
I control the resident with StartUp Delayer.

I have a lot of programs installed in portable mode, so I control them from special launchers menus. From any of the six systems.
Now I project, with the good help of computer hope, automate and personalized my systems (probably with bat and reg files of the sort of kellys korner)
