error message

I recieved and error message "RPC is not available" when I tried to instal my SB audigy driver. I suspect it's the reason I can't surf the web or access any of my already installed programs (Mcafee etc....) please help.

mrmusic, since you can't surf the net you will have to look at this link on another computer. It might help you with your problem. I would suggest that you try the part about going to Control Panel and checking to see if the RPC has started or not. However, I would not advise you to poke around in the registry unless you know exactly what you're doing. If you do, make sure you make a back-up first.
