    Computer start-up problem
    « on: October 18, 2009, 12:01:47 PM »
I've tried booting into Windows vista but get a message saying that there has been a start-up error. I've tried everything, but I don't have a Windows Vista insallation disk. What can I do now? I do know that the regestriy is corrupt as it says on the screen. PLEASE HELP!!.
At first it says: Windows failed to start; a recent hardware or software change might be the broblem.
I then select 'Lauch startup repair'
It then gives me instructions: 1. Insert Windows installation disk
                                                   2. Choose languge setiings and click next
                                                   3. Click on repair computer
It also gives me the options to start-up using differentsettings; which i've tried.

You already have a thread on this. Do not start multiple threads on the same topic - it's only confusing and causes duplicate work.
