There is no reason to keep using Service Pack 1 - why grind progress to a halt when it will make no difference in the long run? Only that you are stuck with ancient bugs that other users are no longer bothered with.
I didn't know there
was an SP1. Windows just automatically updated to SP2 as I was shutting down my E-Machine. I noticed more security settings, but since I have Norton Antivirus 2004 (updated continually) Ad-Aware 6 SE Personal, Norton Internet Security, GoBack, SystemWorks, and a bunch of other stuff that makes it impossible to see too many viruses (just the occasional Ad-Ware, easily removed), the only REAL difference I see from WinXP and WINXP SP2 is now the three bars moving across the screen at startup have changed from green to blue. (I like blue better, anyway)
Well, I do get a little more security, like popup killers. I gotta love those.
