Internet Explorer Problem

On Internet Explorer, after I click Open/Save/Run once downloading something, nothing happens once it's done downloading on IE, instead of opening what I downloaded or running an installer, nothing happens, and it doesn't save the files anywhere.

Do you notice the actual location it saves downloads to?  Does the download appear to finish?  If not, what happens?  Did you go to the download folder to which the file was downloaded, with Windows Explorer, and search for the file?

Did you try resetting internet explorer and see if that works?

Maybe try Firefox browser and see if same problem appears? That way, it'll be easier to tell if it's just an internet explorer problem, or it's something bigger than that
