iPod...
« on: October 27, 2009, 05:02:12 PM »
Not sure this goes here but I do recommend it.  :P

I've been at war with myself over buying one of these. Not if but which one would I get. I lost the war in my head and was going to get a 160GB then instead got the 32GB iPod touch.

To put it simply, WOW! :o It's a pretty amazing little gadget.

Holds up to 7,000 songs/Up to 40 hours of video (like I'll ever get that many songs/pictures.

Audio playback
Up to 30 hours

Video playback
Up to 6 hours

Built in Wi-Fi plus much more.

My iPod touch 8gb is GREAT. I got the OS3.0 upgrade, so the copy paste function is amazing.

The iPod touch is indeed a remarkable little device. I just got the 64GB model two weeks ago and I haven't regretted anything. In fact, i'm using it to post this message :P

How do I figure out if I have that or not?

Once you plug the iPod touch into the computer, open up iTunes. Access your iPod and you can check to see what version you have. If it's not the latest (3.1.2), you can update it via iTunes.

The more I explore the more I like it. The copy paste is cool.  ;)

Good thing you got the touch, if you would have gotten the classic, you would probably hate it. I have a classic and it completely sucks. I hate the wheel

My son got a 180GB iPod Classic a few years ago when he went to Iraq. I thought that was really cool at the time. Glad now I was happy with my mp3 player I had then and waited a while to get an iPod. ;)

Good thing he didn't bring an iTouch to Iraq, they're notorious for screen cracks.

My iTouch has a smashed screen, though it still works flawlessly. Though when I first got it I did have issues with it either turning the Volume up fully, or Down so quiet I couldnt hear it. I had to keep turning it off and on, but since I smashed it (a month after I got it) it hasnt done it since.

My iTouch has a smashed screen,

Yea I'm looking into a good case for it. Expensive for a good one. I have a silicone cover for the back but nothing on the front.

I have the anti-glare protective screen for the iPod Touch and a plastic back-cover.
I think it's sufficient. So far, no damage.

I strongly recommend the anti-glare screen. No fingerprints, smooth, and very clear.

I agree. I'm not too picky but the fingerprints are getting to me...
