unable to uninstall a bad microsoft office program
    « on: October 28, 2009, 07:25:31 AM »
I installed Microsoft Office on my laptop. My problem is the usual source of a problem... I got it from a torrent site. after a year, I could not use it anymore. much worse, I could not uninstall it. whenever I try to, a pompt appears and tells me "set up cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available. Run Setup again from the original source disc or download location."
Now that I am reformed, I got an original Microsoft Office cd. I tried re-installing it, but the same prompt appears.
    please help me!

Try to run REVO uninstaller on it...
Re-boot after it finishes and try the install.

If not post back...i've got a few other tricks.
