New Dell - Win 7 advice.
    « on: November 28, 2009, 09:38:49 PM »
I bought a new computer with Win 7 and have a couple of question's before I set it up. There isn't an OS cd included so I will have to burn one on start up. Will it matter if I use a regular cd or do I need to use a dvd disk? Can I burn 2 so I can keep them seperate & safe? The little pamplet Dell supplied was for Vista instead of 7 so I'm hoping the startup instructions on the computer will be clear. I would appreciate any tips on what I should or should not do in the initial start up. I'm sure Windows 7 is a long way from the Windows 98 I'm used to.

I would use a DVD...that way it will fit on 1...

The instructions are basically the same for both OS's...

If you contact Dell however they will ship you the DVD's for a nominal shipping cost...
