Windows server 2008 Need Help please

i have an old pc and my gud one now i want to put windows server 2008 on the old pc but it wont boot the cd i burned it came from dreamspark no worries and i then put the hdd in my pc and installed it on there  but when i put it back in my old pc it starts and then loops before windows loadup screen i then tested it in my new pc were it worked just fine

What you have experienced is normal. If you install Windows on a PC and then take the hard drive out and put it in a different PC, it won't work. That is because each Windows installation ties itself to the hardware of the PC it is installed to.

    you could use a tool like sysprep to run through the mini setup. This is how places like dell load an image with software already installed. The mini setup will detect and install all hardware that drivers are supplied for.
