Turning a CRT monitor into a projector
« on: December 04, 2009, 11:08:45 AM »
I can't get a projector for under $50 but I want to watch TV and movies in bed with a projector. I saw an article at http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-an-iPod-Video-Projector/ and it teaches me to build a iPod projector. Can I do it for a old CRT monitor?

If I want to use a A/V device, I can always use a TV tuner.

Never say never, but with the way a CRT is designed, makes it highly unlikely that it could be used as a projector for what you want.

A CRT actually already is a projector but it is designed just to project on to the front screen.
