    System time changes to 2002
    « on: December 10, 2009, 09:30:52 PM »
Very strange issue where my Windows Server R2 machine changes the system time to 2002, but leaves the same day, time, and month. This only happens when the server is rebooted or if c:/ drive is accessed. Any ideas?

I would say either a virus or a dying cmos battery.

Do a virus scan on the server. If there's no viruses, check to see where it is getting time updates from. Perhaps the time provider is having issues.
