Hi im new here and not great with computers,. my problem is the other day i got one of those viruses that pop up telling you to buy their software. i tried to open an anti-virus program of system restore, but it wouldnt let me do anything. so then the next time i started up it would start up normally and then log me off. id be at the log in screen, and if you try to log in you log on you see your desktop backround and then it immedeatly logs me off and im back to log on screen.
i havent had the computer long and ahvent don much with it. i got it from my aunt to tune my car. It was her old work computer from her old job and gave it to me, cause she didnt need it any more and i didnt need anything fancy. its an IBM think pad T41 with windows XP pro.
