i cant print from internet

yes! i could print  and i just finished installing the anti viruse  software , and then it shut down  restart and i cant get it up again

Have you got any anti-virus software program on your pc?besides avg.......disconnect from the net .....re-boot pc and hold down the f8 key and chose last good config.....and reboot.do the same again now scan for bugs......i would have thought ie6 is damaged.

nope i dont have any other anit-virus software. the computer is down, its completely shut down...  i dont think i understand about rebooting it if already shut down, i am disconnected from the web.... i cant scan for bugs once again the computer dont work, im using someone elses computer.... im sorry that i sound dumb but i just dont know what your trying to tell me about the f8 key! please explain more

Shut your computer down completely.
Push the button to re-start it.
Start tapping the F8 key and you will see a screen that gives you some bootup options.
You can try last good config or perhaps safe mode.
Please try and remember what your operating system is.
It's probably one of the following.
Win95, Win98, WinME, Win2000, XP home or Pro.

yeah, my computer is shut down completely. it didnt help, i just did that, maybe im doing something wrong? i tap f8 and i goes all the way to show me my wallpaper and it seems that it working but it it never gives a chance pick good config. just shows a pop up saying i need to reinstall windows. but ill try again the f8 method, and the operating systems is WinMe, i knew that, i think i am doing something wrong, ill try again.

o.k. i tried the f8, i dint work, all i got was a blue screen that i cant get out of! it says "windows proctection error you need to restart your computer. system halted" and it stuck an cant get it off, and i cant shut it down, now what do i do?         help please husband is coming home soon!!!!!

Re-boot & tap the Ctrl key instead of the F8 key.

Due to the problems you have had accessing, downloading and runninf AV scans, this sort of sounds like it might be a virus problem.
You should run some scans for viruses and spyware as previouly described.
A good place to start is a free online scan at
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm
If you can't access the internet you may have to re-start again & select 'Safe mode with networking'.
I'm not too sure what options ME gives you on this.
Bottom line...
Scan, scan, scan until you're sure it's clean.
Turn off system restore... very important.

so i went and cleard evrything but i still cant print from the web, what do i do?

o.k. now i have another problem that came with all that scanning viruses, now the whole system is slow and i push ctrl,alt, delete.and all these programs are running without me knowing that theyre running how do i stop this?   cause its really slowing down the internet

Only try and fix one thing at a time.
