Asus rampage II extreme mainboard
Intel core I7 965 @ 5.0GHz O.C
8GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz (2GB x 4 sticks)
2x RADEON HD4890's in crossfire (1024MB GDDR5 each)
7.1 Creative supreme X-Fi surround sound
40" Samsung HDTV @ 1920X1080p 60Hz using DVI to HDMI cable
LG Bluray/HD-DVD multi recorder
Akasa multi cardreader with phone SIM card reader
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

had this for best part of a year or so now, looking at upgrading the M/B with a newer USB 3.0 and SATA 3.0 board. Any Suggestions??
also considering HD5970's in crossfire but Nvidia fermi cards could be out in a short while so might wait till then.

Great looking system alphanumeric. I've got your profile updated so it'll have the SBCC icon. As far as the motherboard not sure why you'd want or need to update that motherboard and personally don't have any suggestions on an alternative to that nice motherboard. But it's likely someone on the forums could.

old large mahogeny desk. The TV stand is about 10" deep so gives me room at the front of the desk for keyb & mouse.
