Released in 1984, The Ancient Art of War allowed players to control one of four types of ground troops: Archers, Barbarians, Knights or Spies. Using these troops, the player runs through one of eleven campaigns, choosing either skirmish or capture the flag as the style of mission.

To win battles, the player must fight multiple battles, and manage the troops' hunger and morale. Troops can also become fatigued if they travel too far across the terrain, affecting their battle performance.

The Ancient Art of War is an excellent game for players of all ages, teaching both young and old how battles are fought, the difficulties on the battlefield and the strategies of war.

Released in 1987, The Ancient Art of War at Sea takes place in the mid-19th century. It gave players the chance to wage war using a fleet of naval ships to battle historic opponents.

Players can face off against the Duke of Medina Sidonia, Blackbeard, John Paul Jones, Horatio Nelson or Thor Foote, a fictional opponent.

The Ancient Art of War at Sea is an excellent game for teaching young and old how sea battles are fought, strategies that naval ship captains used, and historic naval opponents.
