Remove the clipboard toolbar feature from Office 2000

OfficeTo disable this feature from all of Microsoft Office, you must edit the Registry.

  1. Close all Microsoft Office programs.
  2. Click Start, Run, and type "Regedit" and click ok to Open the Windows Registry editor.
  3. Open the below folders:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\
    Software\
    Microsoft\
    Office\
    9.0\
    Common\
    General\
  4. Once in the General folder click Edit from the drop-down-menu, click New and then DWORD Value.
  5. For the name of the new DWORD, type: Acbcontrol
  6. Double-click Acbcontrol to edit it. Change the value to 1, and click OK.
  7. Close the Registry editor.

Once the above steps have been completed, your Office programs should no longer display the Microsoft Office clipboard toolbar.
