After running the chkdsk command, you may receive the error volume appears to contain one or more unrecoverable problems. This error indicates the hard drive or partition has a serious error that chkdsk cannot resolve, and the hard drive is seriously corrupt or has failed.
The hard drive can be tested using specialized disk drive utilities designed to test and fix failures if possible.
If the hard drive passes the tests, or you believe the hard drive is not at fault, we suggest erasing everything and reinstalling Windows to resolve any serious disk corruption.
