Microsoft Word Shortcut

In Microsoft Word the default action when pressing the Enter key is to create a new paragraph, and not move to the next line. For most writing, this is not a problem until you want Word to not create a new paragraph.

Thankfully there is an easy keyboard shortcut that moves to the next line. Move the text cursor to where you want the new line to begin and then press and hold down the Shift key and then press the Enter key. You can continue to press Shift+Enter to move to each new line and when ready to move to the next paragraph press Enter.
