How to manage your friends on Twitch

Unfortunately, as of May 25th, 2022 (May 6th for mobile users), the Friends feature on Twitch is no longer available. Twitch cited lack of use as the reason for the removal of Friends. They said they want to divert those resources to "further focus on building connections among communities while streamers are live."
Note
Twitch also released a statement regarding whispers: "If you block whispers from strangers in your privacy settings, anyone on your Friends list will lose the ability to send you whispers once the feature is removed. When you follow their account, they are no longer considered a stranger and can send you whispers in the future."
