How to delete a YouTube comment

A great way to give kudos or constructive criticism on a YouTube video is to leave a comment. However, you may realize you made a spelling error, or regret leaving a comment altogether. Luckily, there is a way to both edit or delete comments you've left on a video. The steps below show you how to do so.
How to delete a comment
- Log in to your YouTube account.
- Find the comment you want to delete.
- Move your mouse cursor over your comment. Click the kebab menu
that appears on the right side. - From the drop-down menu, choose Edit to change your comment, or Delete to get rid of it.
How can I delete someone else's comment?
You can't hide or delete someone else's comments - you can only remove your own.
If another YouTube member is being abusive, your only option is to report them to YouTube.
