IBM Storage Protect

Originally called ADSM (ADSTAR Distributed Storage Management), ADSM was developed by IBM in the late 1980s to back up VM/CMS systems and was re-branded to TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) in 1999. The product was later re-branded to IBM Spectrum Protect and today is known as IBM Storage Protect.
This data protection platform allows enterprises to back up and recover data in physical and cloud environments of all sizes.
