Android TV

Released on June 25, 2014, Android TV is a version of Android designed for Smart TVs and other similar devices. The operating system's interface is optimized for quick access to frequently used applications via remote control. Android TV supports a growing library of applications from the Google Play store, including Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube.

Much like its smartphone counterpart, many slightly different versions of the Android TV operating system are developed by Smart TV manufacturers for their own devices.
