Apple ID

Apple ID is an all-in-one account for logging into various services provided by Apple. It works with many of their products including iCloud, iWork, the iTunes store, and the Apple Store.
Any valid e-mail address can be used as an Apple ID. Beginning in March 2013, Apple offers two-step verification as an optional security method for protecting the account. Users are allowed to have multiple Apple IDs, but they may not be merged.
Tip
An Apple ID is required for many of its services, like product registering or customer support.
