AT bus

The AT bus (not to be confused with the ISA (Industry Standard Architecture) bus) is IBM PC/AT compatible computer bus. It transfers up to 16 bits of data at a frequency of 8 MHz. Because of bottlenecks encountered with the AT bus, it was later replaced with the MCA (Micro Channel Architecture) bus and EISA (Extended Industry Standard Architecture) bus.
