Originally founded in 1995 and later purchased by Amazon in March 2008, Audible is a creator and seller of spoken word media. These media include audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, television programs, and radio.
Audible has a vast collection of audio titles, over 200,000 at the time of this writing. Users can purchase a subscription that gives them a "free" credit each month to use for the purchase of any title. Additionally, those who have a subscription receive a 30% discount on any media they buy.
