Short for business-to-business, B2B is the exchange of goods and services between businesses instead of between businesses and consumers. An example of B2B is a software company that sells a CRM (customer relationship management) software solution directly to other companies.
Another type of company would be a B2C (business-to-consumer) company that sells products or services directly to a consumer. For example, a retail store and landscaping company are both examples of a B2C company.
