COD or Call of Duty is a popular first-person shooter video game series developed by Activision. Originally released in 2003, the Call of Duty franchise has expanded to several spinoff games, with sub-franchises like Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare having multiple sequels or expansions.
Call of Duty titles are available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC systems. Versions for mobile devices and legacy Nintendo consoles, like the Wii, are also available.
