Chatterbox Challenge

The Chatterbox challenge was an annual challenge that began in 2001. It was designed to test a chatterbot's ability to simulate a real person in a conversation. Each chatterbot was judged based on how well it responds to a series of questions and the overall conversation.

Unfortunately, in late 2015 the Chatterbox challenge website went offline but can still be found on the Internet archive with all previous conversations.
