How to use the Command+3 keyboard shortcut

To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Command key, and while continuing to hold, press 3.

Note

For this shortcut to work, use 3 above the top row keys, not on the numeric keypad.

Command+3 in macOS

In Apple's macOS, pressing Command+3 displays the items in the Finder window in columns.

Command+3 in an Internet browser

With all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari), pressing Command+3 switches to the third tab.
