How to use the Ctrl+down keyboard shortcut

To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Ctrl key, and while continuing to hold, press the arrow key.

Ctrl+down in Excel and other spreadsheet programs

Pressing Ctrl+ (down) while in a spreadsheet, like Microsoft Excel, moves to the bottom or last entry in the data set.

If in the Google Sheets formula bar while pressing this keyboard shortcut, it scales the formula bar down (makes it bigger).
