Ctrl+End

Alternatively referred to as Control+End and C-End, Ctrl+End is a keyboard shortcut that moves the cursor to the end of a document.

How to use the Ctrl+End keyboard shortcut

To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Ctrl key, and while continuing to hold, press the End key.

Ctrl+End in an Internet browser

In all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, IE, Opera), pressing Ctrl+End moves to the end of the web page.

Ctrl+End in Excel and other spreadsheet programs

In Microsoft Excel, pressing Ctrl+End moves to the last cell containing text. For example, if you had text in a cell located at column Z row 31 with no other text past or below it, this cell would be selected.

Tip

If you pressed Ctrl+Shift+End, everything from the text cursor's current position to the end of the spreadsheet would be highlighted.

Ctrl+End in Word and other word processors

In Microsoft Word and other word processors, pressing Ctrl+End moves the cursor to the end of the document.
