How to use the Ctrl+Shift+less than

To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Ctrl and Shift key, and while continuing to hold them, press the < key.

Ctrl+Shift+less than in Microsoft Word

Highlighting text in Microsoft Word and then pressing Ctrl+Shift+< decreases selected font -1pts if 12pt or lower; if above 12, decreases font by -2pt.

Tip

Use the Ctrl+[ shortcut to only decrease 1pts at a time.
