DCE may refer to any of the following:
1. Short for data communication equipment or data circuit-terminating equipment, DCE is a device such as dial-up modems that establish and control the data link via the telephone network.
2. Short for Distributed Computing Environment, DCE is a standard developed by OSF (Open Software Foundation) for managing and controlling distributed computers.
3. Short for Desktop Compositing Engine, DCE was the former name of what is now the Desktop Window Manager found in every version of Microsoft Windows since Vista.
