A degree may refer to any of the following:

1. A degree is a unit of temperature. For example, a computer case monitor may display the temperature of a case being 92°.

Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 computer or laptop users can press and hold the Windows key and press the period key to open a window that lets you insert a degree and other symbols.

2. A degree is a diploma awarded in the United States colleges and universities given to students upon completion of their objectives. These objectives vary on the difficulty, minor, length, and the college or university. Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree, and Ph.D. degree are all examples of the degrees.

3. With an angle or rotation, a degree describes how an object is moved or rotated. For example, if a picture were rotated 180°, it would be upside down.
