Created in 2013, DoorDash is an on-demand service for universal food delivery. Using the mobile app, users can browse all nearby restaurants and place orders. Once an order is placed, it's crowdsourced to drivers who use the service. You can specify a time frame for delivery, and a DoorDash delivery driver can accept the job, pick up your order, and deliver it to your location.
DoorDash is available for free on iOS and Android devices. To use the service, users pay an average delivery fee of $5.99, depending on the distance the driver must travel.
