Drain

Drain may refer to any of the following:
1. With a transistor, a drain is where electrical current flows out of the unit when it is closed.
2. With power, drain refers to anything that uses up power. For example, as you use your laptop when it's not plugged into the power outlet, the charge in the battery is drained.
