FTL and FTW may refer to any of the following:

1. Short for for the win, the abbreviation FTW is used by gamers to indicate enthusiasm and expectation of victory, or advocacy of a strategy. The opposite of FTW, expressing expectation of defeat, is FTL, which is short for for the loss or for the lose.

2. FTW is shorthand for (expletive) the world and is used as an exclamation of frustration, resignation, and loss of optimism.
