Gang of Four

Gang of Four refers to Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph Johnson and John Vlissides, the authors of the seminal software engineering book "Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software".
Design Patterns was published in 1994, and to date is in its 40th printing. The book is highly influential in the field of software engineering and considered an important source for object-oriented design theory and practice.
