Genius may refer to any of the following:
1. Genius is a music website with an extensive database of song lyrics and explanations for the meaning behind them. It features exclusive video interviews with artists, discussing their music and the meaning of the lyrics. Before expanding to cover all genres, the website was initially known as Rap Genius.
Genius also has a free smartphone app that allows users to read content from the site. Additional app features include microphone-based song recognition, as seen on apps like Shazam.
2. In general, a genius is an individual with exceptional intelligence or who is exceptionally creative. For example, Albert Einstein and Leonardo da Vinci are considered a genius.
