Google Duo

Released in 2016, Google Duo is a cross-platform video calling service that lets you call people with only their Gmail e-mail address. On Duo, both audio and video calls are supported. Contacts can be added through your existing Gmail contact library, or by connecting your phone number to the service.

Although it works on Google platforms, like Android and the Google Chrome web browser, you can also use Google Duo on third-party platforms, like Apple iOS and macOS.

As of June 2022, Duo is now part of Google Meet. To access the service, you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. It can also be accessed in a supported web browser by visiting the Google Meet website.
