Gyroscope

A gyroscope is a device that detects orientation by being suspended in a fixed position, but able to rotate freely on one or more axes. Gyroscope technology is included in many devices to determine their orientation or maintain a consistent rotation while in motion. Common electronic devices that utilize gyroscope technology include smartphones and gimbals.
