History may refer to any of the following:

1. Internet history, also called browsing history or web history, is a feature found in all Internet browsers. It is a record of the addresses of the websites you have recently visited, and data associated with those websites. The saved data can help make the website load faster if you visit it again. The saved data is stored in a place on your computer's disk, called a cache.

Tip: Anyone concerned about their privacy or want to hide pages they have visited can clear their Internet history. If you clear your Internet browser history frequently, you may also want to consider using incognito mode.

2. Linux command, see the history command page for further information about this command.

History3. In general, history can also refer to the record of past events. For example, when talking about the history of computers, the ENIAC that began construction in 1943 became the first electric computer and is what help create the computers of today.
