Developed in 2016 by Savoir-Faire Linux, Jami is a free-to-use, open source messaging application. Its features include individual and group text chat, video calls, meetings, and screen sharing. Jami works through peer-to-peer connections, increasing the privacy and speed of messages due to the lack of reliance on a central server. For this reason, Jami also doesn't have file size limits for photos, videos, and other files transferred through the service.

Jami is available on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. It is available for download from the official Jami website, and on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Jami was previously known by the names GNU Ring and SFLphone.
