With its name being "the antithesis of HiJack," LoJack is a tracking system that aids in the recovery of vehicles subject to theft. A small transceiver that sends a signal to the police cars within three to five miles of a stolen automobile. LoJack also has a service called LoJack for laptops and services that also help protect smartphones and tablets.

Upgraded versions of LoJack alert the owner if the vehicle is started or moved. LoJack, the company, is headquartered in Canton, MA and reports a 90% recovery rate. It claims that over 300,000 vehicles were recovered since the system's inception.
