MacPup

MacPup is a Linux operating system based on Puppy Linux, designed to run on Apple computers. By default, it uses the Enlightenment desktop environment to provide a dock interface similar to macOS.

Like Puppy Linux, MacPup runs entirely from RAM (random-access memory) and is less than 100 MB in size. It does not need to be installed on a hard disk to run. Instead, it can run from a CD (compact disc) or USB (universal serial bus) flash drive, with only the user's information (files, preferences, installed programs, etc.) written to disk or USB. It is efficient and performs quite well, especially on older Mac systems.
