A mashup is an application or website that offers content from numerous sources and combines it in one place. This provides one location where a user can get information without having to visit several sites. An example of a mashup could be combining news feeds from news sites (e.g., AP, BBC, CNN, ABC, and others) and make them all accessible on one page.
