Maximum resolution

The maximum resolution of a computer display is the greatest number of pixels it can display; usually expressed in the horizontal and vertical dimensions. For example, consumer LCD (liquid-crystal display) displays commonly have a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
