Multifrequency monitor

A multifrequency monitor is a display device that accepts video signals with different frequencies in a specific set. Popularized by the NEC Multisync line, which started out as CRT (cathode ray tube) monitors in the mid-eighties, these displays could output multiple resolutions on the same screen.
