NCP

NCP may refer to any of the following:

1. Short for Network Control Protocol, an NCP enables communication of protocols on PPP.

2. When referring to a Novell network, NCP is short for NetWare Core Protocol and is a file sharing protocol between client and server. Used with NetWare over a LAN, NetWare Core Protocol handles many requests, including those sent to the file and printing systems.
