One may refer to any of the following:

1. One is a numerical value represented as "1" that's the first positive number following the zero. On a computer keyboard with a numeric keypad, there are two 1's. One on the top row of numbers and the other 1 on the keypad.

In ASCII, the numerical value of "1" is "049" in decimal (00110001 in binary). To count to "1" in binary it would be 00000001.

4. The number 1 is used as chat slang to say "one" or "won." For example, someone could shorten "someone" into "some1."
